Danylo Denysov
Danylo Denysov is a classical guitarist originally from Luhansk, Ukraine, whose musical journey began with formal studies at the Gliére Music College. He continued his education at the Prager Konservatorium, where he earned his degree before moving to Germany to pursue his Bachelor of Music at the Hochschule für Musik FRANZ LISZT Weimar. Now, under the guidance of Prof. Riccardo Gallen, he is completing his Master of Music at the same institution, while also focusing on his teaching and performance career.
In addition to his performances, Danylo currently teaches at Kreismusikschule Kon.centus in Neubrandenburg. His diverse teaching experience spans both state music schools in Germany and the Music Art School in Prague, with a focus on building solid technique while fostering a deep love for music. Danylo's students, from beginners to advanced players, benefit from his dedication and commitment to music education.
Throughout his career, Danylo has been recognized for his talent and dedication. He is the recipient of several prestigious awards, including the Franz Liszt Preis and multiple Deutschlandstipendien. His academic achievements have been supported by scholarships from the Gesellschaft der Freunde und Förderer der Hochschule für Musik FRANZ LISZT Weimar.
With performances across Europe, Danylo has captivated audiences with his expressive and technically masterful playing. A magazine review described his performance at the Neujahrskonzert: "Danylo Denysov präsentierte sein eigenes Gitarrenarrangement, das klang, als ob die Fuge schon immer für das Saiteninstrument gemacht worden wäre" (Jessie Morgenroth, inSüdthüringen).
In addition to his solo work, Danylo performs as part of the Danza Duo with accordionist Anna Betker. The duo has been praised for their unique blend of guitar and accordion, delivering performances that transport audiences to new musical landscapes.
